A bailiff calls the court into session, the judges enter, and lawyers for the parties present their arguments to the judges and answer the judges' questions. After oral arguments, the judges usually entertain audience questions about the law and the judiciary in general, but not about the case they've just heard. Moot Court Room, 10 a.m.

Faculty News
Prof. Steve Sanders reports he can now cross "curating a museum exhibition" off his bucket list. He and an IU librarian have assembled an exhibition at IU's Lilly Library devoted to the idea of "Human Dignity." The materials, all drawn from the Lilly's collection of rare books and manuscripts, are in four themed display cases in the library's Lincoln Room. They include an edition of Thomas Paine's "Rights of Man," a copy of the Emancipation Proclamation, a version of the 13th Amendment as it was going through Congress, an early draft of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and materials about the U.S. women's and LGBT movements. It's only up until March 15.
