Welcome to the 21st Annual Socctoberfest!
Socctoberfest is an annual co-ed round-robin soccer tournament for law students held in October. Four teams play six games to determine an overall winner. At the end of the night, the winning team receives a trophy that will be placed in the trophy cabinet on the first floor of Baier Hall, alongside the team photo, until the next tournament.
This year's Socctoberfest will be held on Friday, October 25 at 5 p.m. at Karst Farm Park, fields 1 and 2, on the west side of Bloomington. Both JD and Graduate Legal Studies students of all ability levels may participate. After the games, which will end at approximately 7 p.m., we will have a pizza party in the area adjacent to the soccer fields. Participants, fellow students, faculty and staff, and family are welcome.
Students interested in playing should register online by 5 p.m. on October 4. Draft selection will take place following registration.
