Public interest externship program
For many lawyers, the public sector — nonprofit organizations and government agencies — is a rewarding practice setting. Our public interest externship program gives you the opportunity to explore this field while earning academic credit.
By working in your choice of public-sector settings, you can earn up to four credits while getting hands-on experience under the supervision of a practicing attorney and a faculty member. Plus you'll lighten your course load during your 2L year, which frees up time to work on law journal, moot court, and career planning.
