Certificate programs
Indiana Law offers several non-degree graduate certificate programs designed to meet your specific legal education goals and interests in a short period of time. Certificates require 8 to 12 credit hours and one semester in residence. For more information about each certificate, please visit the websites linked below.

Application priority dates (Certificate in Legal Studies)
Fall
- Priority Date: February 1
- Deadline: April 1
- Apply for the fall semester
Spring
- Priority Date: September 1
- Deadline: November 1
- Apply for the spring semester
How to Apply
To apply, please use the Indiana University Online Graduate And Professional Admissions Application. Applicants to the Certificate in Legal Studies should choose “Law Special Programs” as the Academic Program and “Legal Studies CRT” as the Academic Plan. The Certificate can be pursued in the Fall or Spring semester.
