The Indiana Pacers' Frank Pulice and Catherine Nichols and USA Track and Field's Norm Wain will be here this afternoon to discuss life as a general counsel in the sports world. 5 p.m.
Two alums practicing in IP will serve as practitioners-in-residence throughout the day Tuesday.
Microsoft's senior director for trustworthy computing, Paul Nicholas, and senior cybersecurity strategist Amanda Craig, JD'14, will discuss global cybersecurity-related challenges. Friday, 3 p.m.

Christian Legal Society Weekly Bible Study
All students interested in learning more about the Christian Legal Society or interested in engaging in Bible study are welcome. These sessions will take place every Monday through April 27. Room 120, noon.
Q+A with General Counsel: Pacers Sports & Entertainment and USATF
Come learn about day-to-day work of being general counsel for a sports organization. Frank Pulice and Catherine Nichols from the Indiana Pacers and Norm Wain from USA Track and Field will answer your questions about general counsel careers, current issues in sports and entertainment law, and the sports law network in Indianapolis. The Graduate Legal Studies Colloquium
The Graduate Legal Studies Colloquium is a weekly meeting for graduate students to discuss common academic concerns and research interests. This week, SJD candidate Hyunjin Kim will make a presentation on his dissertation proposal. His proposed title is "Inter-Korean Maritime Delimitation in the Yellow/West Sea Area: Assessing Potential Impact of the Special and Relevant Circumstances Surrounding the Area." Room 120, noon.
Cyberspace 2025: Today's decisions, tomorrow's terrain
In the year 2025, we will be more dependent on the Internet than ever before. What will be the forces that shape that world? Microsoft's Paul Nicholas, senior director for Trustworthy Computing, and Amanda Craig, JD'14, senior cybersecurity strategist, will discuss the challenges and opportunities related to the changing roles of governments in cyberspace, international security dilemmas, cybersecurity regulations, and collaborative risk management. Prof. Madeira was featured this week on WTHR's investigative story on "The Gun Trail."
Profs. Mark Need and Norm Hedges were recently judges at the 2015 Burton D. Morgan Business Plan Competition held by Purdue University in West Lafayette. Over $100,000 in prizes were awarded to graduate and undergraduate competitors.
On Feb. 20 Prof. Rob Fischman presented a work in progress on wildlife conservation in the wake of climate change at the Fordham University Law School's conference on "Legal Responses to Wildlife Conservation in the 21st Century."

Class of 2015: Support the Law Fund for Excellence, Get Free Shirt
3Ls: With graduation a mere two months away, now is a great time for you to thank your favorite professors or faculty members for their guidance and support over the last three years. By pledging any amount to the Law Fund for Excellence, the alumni and development office will send a tribute letter to a professor or faculty member you wish to thank post-graduation. And if you pledge at least $20.15 by March 13, you will receive a free "Class of 2015" t-shirt. Stop by the pledge campaign's table any time between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to make a pledge. No payment will be expected until July 2016, and if you decide to lower your pledge amount later you may do so. Announcing the Inaugural Maurer ADR Competition
The Advocacy Board is pleased to invite Maurer 2Ls and 3Ls to participate in the first Maurer Alternative Dispute Resolution Competition, which this year will be centered on international arbitration. The competition will be held March 27-29. Students compete in teams of two and may sign up with a partner or be paired up randomly. No prior experience with ADR is necessary, and there is no writing component to the competition. Prof. Angie Raymond will run a training session on Saturday, March 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All competitors must attend the training session to be briefed on the rules, the competition structure, and the competition problem. Opportunity to participate in the ADR competition will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. Please e-mail lawmoot@indiana.edu with "Intent to Participate" in the subject line and your name in the e-mail no later than 11:59 p.m. on March 4.

Prof. Carole Silver, JD'80 — formerly on the Law School's faculty, now at Northwestern University Law School — is conducting research to learn about the experiences of international LLM and JD students as part of a larger study of globalization and legal education. International JD students interested in participating in the research should contact her at c-silver@law.northwestern.edu, or 312-503-1772, for information on arranging an interview.
International LLM students should participate by completing a survey or by contacting her with any questions or for more information.

Register today for CSO Career Exploration and Networking Trips to DC & New York
Students may begin to register for the spring break Career Exploration and Networking events in DC and NY. Students will be introduced to attorneys working for NY and DC government agencies, corporate legal departments, law firms, and public interest organizations. There will also be an alumni networking reception in each city. The CSO can help connect you with other students who will be attending so you can explore carpooling and/or sharing hotel expenses. Space is limited and travel plans are already being made so register early. Please contact the CSO for more details.
Research Assistants Needed to Update Trial Objections Handbook
Prof. Aviva Orenstein needs research assistants for her update of the Trial Objections Handbook. Students will assist in editing and proofreading text and footnotes and researching new cases. Knowledge of evidence, trial advocacy, and bluebook are a plus. Excellent writing skills and attention to detail are a must. If interested, please email a resume to: aorenste@indiana.edu.

ILA Submissions
Indiana Law Annotated is published every Monday while school is in session with news about the coming week. Submit information and articles for ILA to ila@indiana.edu by Thursday at noon for inclusion in Monday's edition. Length of submission is limited to 150 words, unless otherwise approved. Entries may be edited to ensure consistent presentation. If you're requesting a room, submit all information (including the room request) via the Plan a Meeting feature of the website. If you have questions about an item appearing in the ILA, please contact James Boyd (joboyd@indiana.edu; phone 855-0156). Indiana Law Annotated is archived online.
