OCPD Tip of the Week: Come Meet Practicing Lawyers
Every week practitioners from across the country visit the Law School to meet small groups of our students. This is a great opportunity for students to strengthen their professional network and learn about career fields. Please visit Symplicity and review these small-group opportunities under the Events tab. Even if the alum does not work in your practice area or city of interest, they undoubtedly know lawyers who can provide job leads for you. There will never be an easier way for you make a strong impression on an alum and build your network. Take advantage of this benefit!

This is a new initiative by the SBA to provide an open forum for all 1L students to come discuss your first semester with us directly. Whether you have questions, concerns, or just want to know what we have been working on for you this past semester, we want to know what we can do to help improve your time here at Maurer.
