Background
Greg Canada has devoted his entire professional career serving higher education. In addition to working in various student service positions as a graduate student, he has spent over 25 years in undergraduate, graduate, and law school admissions. Beyond his current responsibilities as the assistant dean of admissions at Indiana Law, Canada teaches the Philosophy of Law in Indiana University’s Hutton Honors program. He has been actively involved with the Law School Admissions Council, presenting nationally on numerous topics related to law school admissions and serving on a variety of service committees, including, most recently, LSAC’s Emerging Markets and Innovation Committee. For over a decade, he served as an evaluator for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and the Bill and Melinda Gates Millennium Scholarship program. He also worked as a critical thinking instructor for the Council on Legal Education Opportunity. Prior to joining Indiana Law in 2015, Canada was the assistant dean of admissions at UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, CA.
Canada earned a BA in history and philosophy from Virginia Wesleyan College, summa cum laude, an MA in philosophy from Boston College, and a graduate certificate in higher education administration from Harvard University.
