Moot Court Report: National Quarterfinalists at the 2024 National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition
The team of 3Ls Amani Khoury, Sunny Straw, and Noah Hines traveled to Pace University in White Plains, NY, for a competition that historically has hosted the most teams under one roof of any moot court in the country. This competition presents exceptionally complicated problems of administrative and environmental law, and this year added a difficult religious exercise issue on top of that, with each round featuring three teams each arguing for 30 minutes. The team did very well in preliminary rounds, with Noah receiving individual recognition as best oralist in their first round. The team then advanced to quarterfinals over most of the field, losing a close round to an undefeated University of Georgia team that later advanced to finals. This is our best showing at this competition in many years. Congratulations to all three competitors!

The position description and application requirements are posted on CareerNet. The deadline is Sunday, April 7.
