Outlaw Meeting; Upcoming Opportunities
Outlaw is hosting a guest speaker from the Buskirk-Chumley Theater who will discuss volunteer opportunities for the upcoming LGBT Film Festival, including historical reenactments, marriages, and flashmobs. We will also be handing out tickets for a celebratory event on February 2 at Grazie restaurant. Tickets are limited, so get them early! Room 120, noon.

IU Vita Callout
Noon in room 124. Did you miss the first callout meeting because of exams? No worries! We're holding another, because we know there's a huge reservoir of untapped tax enthusiasts at Maurer! No tax experience is required. Questions? Email Patrick W. Thomas at pwthomas@indiana.edu. If you can't make this one, just attend the training session on Saturday, January 19th from 1-4pm (see below).
BLSA Presidential Inauguration Trip
BLSA is organizing a trip to Washington, DC to attend the presidential inauguration, which coincides with events celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday. Professor Brown is planning a BLSA reception in Washington, and there will be many other networking events with Maurer alumni and other professionals. The group will leave Bloomington (by car or van) on Friday, January 18 and return late on Monday, January 21. Please plan to attend this important meeting to discuss logistics, costs, and other details of the trip. Room 121, noon.

VITA Training
Mandatory training session for all students who plan to participate in IU Volunteer Income Tax Assistance. We will cover basic tax law, train you to pass VITA's certification tests, and provide an introduction to our tax preparation software. Lunch will be provided. Room 123, 1-4pm.

OCPD Fellows Office Hours Begin This Week
The fellows are accepting walk-in appointments in room 020A. Here is the schedule:

Barristers' Ball Set for February 15
The 25th Annual Rapheal Prevot, Jr. Barristers' Ball will be held at the Bloomington Convention Center on Friday, February 15th from 7 p.m. until midnight (note the change in date).
The theme this year is The Great Barristers, inspired by The Great Gatsby. It's sure to be a memorable night. Tickets are $45 and are on sale now at 2013iubarristersball.eventbrite.com. The ticket price includes food, entertainment, and a photo for each attendee. You can save $5 off the price of admission through this Thursday (January 17) by using the promotional code 25YEARS. The code expires Thursday at 11:59 p.m. and can be used twice by each person.
How to Schedule an Event
An online form is available to plan and schedule meetings. Please use this form to request a room, notify Indiana Law Annotated, and send other information about your event. You will receive confirmation that your room has been reserved after your request has been processed. When filling out your event description, please provide all information possible, especially if you are requesting that the event be publicized.
ILA Submissions
Indiana Law Annotated is published every Monday while school is in session with news about the coming week. Submit information and articles for ILA to ila@indiana.edu by Thursday at noon for inclusion in Monday's edition. Length of submission is limited to 150 words, unless otherwise approved. Entries may be edited to ensure consistent presentation. If you're requesting a room, submit all information (including the room request) via the Plan a Meeting feature of the website. If you have questions about an item appearing in the ILA, please contact Ken Turchi (kturchi@indiana.edu; phone 856-4044). Indiana Law Annotated is archived online.
Audio-Video Services
