Milton Stewart Fellows Applications Now Available
1L and 2L students interested in the 2012 Milton Stewart Fellows Summer Internship Project, which includes overseas internship opportunities in Brazil, China, India or Korea, are invited to apply starting now and running through December 19, 2011. A limited number of positions are available in each country. Applications are available through Symplicity; select the "jobs and scholarships" tab and search for "2012 Summer Internship Abroad" or job number 4968. Application requires submission of a resume and completed application form, which includes a brief personal statement. Applicants may apply to more than one program using the same application form and should be sure to explain their interest in being a Stewart Fellow and preparation for taking part in these programs in the personal statement. Selected applicants will be invited to first-round interviews in late January or early February 2012. To learn more information about the programs prior to applying, please contact Ms. Lara Gose or Dean Lesley Davis in the Office of International Programs, room 220.
BLSA Food Drive
The Black Law Students' Association is collecting non-perishable food items from now until Nov. 22. Please deposit all food items in the boxes in front of the Law School library, the kitchen in the Student Lounge, and the BLSA office (right across from the SBA office on the ground floor). Conservation Law Center Seeks Office Manager
The Conservation Law Center is looking for a part-time office manager. Duties include bookkeeping, law firm administrative support, and website updating. Qualifications: Bookkeeping ability using QuickBooks, Word and Excel proficiency, filing and organization skills. Prefer some college, office management experience, positive attitude, and interest in environment. $14+ per hour depending on experience and some benefits. Faculty News
Prof. W. William Weeks, Director of the Conservation Law Clinic, has been elected the Chairman of the Indiana Sustainable Natural Resources Task Force. The Task Force, mandated in Public Law 106-2011, includes legislators and conservation leaders, and is charged with assessing Indiana policy and law with respect to the natural resources of the state, delivering a report card on the state's performance to the Governor and legislature by fall 2012, and making recommendations for the long-term conservation of the natural resources of Indiana.
Prof. Joseph L. Hoffmann has been recognized by The National Judicial College for 15 years of service. The College is the nation's leading organization for the education of judges. His work has focused capital cases for appellate judges.
Prof. Kenneth G. Dau-Schmidt has been elected a member of the American Law Institute. On November 19 he participated in the American Bar Foundation's experts' meeting on the Restatement of Employment Law at Northwestern Law School. His remarks centered on non-reciprocal employee duties of loyalty and covenants not to compete.

You will receive confirmation that your room has been reserved after your request has been processed. When filling out your event description, please provide all information possible, especially if you are requesting that the event be publicized.
ILA Submissions
The Indiana Law Annotated (ILA) is published every Monday while school is in session with news about the coming week. Submit information and articles for ILA to ila@indiana.edu by Thursday at noon for inclusion in Monday's edition. Length of submission is limited to 150 words, unless otherwise approved. If you're requesting a room, submit all information (including the room request) via the Plan a Meeting feature of the website. If you have questions about an item appearing in the ILA, please contact Ken Turchi (kturchi@indiana.edu; phone 856-4044). Indiana Law Annotated is archived online.
Audio-Video Services
Send requests for AV services to Max Exter (av@exchange.iu.edu). Please include the name of your group and the e-mail address of the contact person, a description of what you want to do, and the date, location, starting time, and duration of the event. Requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance and will be confirmed by e-mail.
