Professor Ajay Mehrotra recently published a book chapter, "From Berlin to Baltimore: German Historicism and the American Income Tax, 1877-1913," in Taxation, State and Civil Society in Germany and the United States from the 18th to the 20th Century, eds. Alexander Nuetzenadel and Christoph Strupp (Baden-Baden: Nomos Publishers, 2007), 167-184.

ILAP Training Session
The Inmate Legal Assistance Project (ILAP) is offering a training session from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in room 125 on Tuesday, Jan. 29. The Office of Career and Professional Development presents the Art of Effective Interviewing from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, March 23, in the Moot Court Room. Plan to attend this engaging and entertaining event presented by Jon Vegosen, founding partner of Funkhouser Vegosen Liebman & Dunn Ltd., a vibrant, small-sized law firm in Chicago. Vegosen will perform a roleplay with Randi Kohn, director of administration and development and also give you an opportunity to ask questions. In addition to learning about interview techniques, this is a great opportunity to network. So plan your first-impression wardrobe accordingly. All students are welcome sign up on Symplicity. Pizza will be provided!

Admissions Tour Guides Needed
The Admissions Office is expecting an increase in the number of prospective student visitors this semester and will need additional assistance from Tour Guides. If you are interested in serving as a Tour Guide, please stop by the Admissions Office to sign up. Questions can be directed to Dani Weatherford, Director of Recruitment, at maweathe@indiana.edu.
