Costumed children should gather with an adult at the front lobby of the Law School beginning at 4:30 p.m. Activities will include trick-or-treating and a play about Halloween and the law put on by the Law and Drama Society. OWLS (Older and Wiser Law Students) will have a table in the first floor lobby where the children can pick up an "Evidence Bags" to store the "goodies" they find around the School.
Trick-or-treating in both the Law and Lewis Buildings will last until 5:15 p.m. Volunteers on each floor of the building will direct children to the offices participating in the event. An officer from the IU Police Department has kindly agreed to provide assistance with crossing Indiana Avenue.
The trick-or-treating will be followed by the play in the Moot Court Room at approximately 5:20 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Take advantage of this safe, fun opportunity for Halloween celebration and the chance for kids to see where their moms and dads work or go to school.
Volunteers are needed! There is plenty of work to go around. Please volunteer your time by helping set up for the event, directing the children to participating offices, or cleaning up when the festivities are over.
