SUPPORTING NEW ORLEANS STUDENTS
Dear Law School community,
Thank you for your generous outpouring of support for the students who will be joining us as visitors from the ravaged New Orleans area. Your offers of housing, housewares, and class notes are all welcome, and will help our 20 visitors adjust to this unanticipated change in their education plans. I ask for your special support for the seven visitors who are international students, and thus doubly uprooted. Student organization leaders will be in touch with ways to be helpful, but I imagine the most helpful thing we can do for our visitors is to make them feel as welcome as possible. Knowing what I do about this school, I have no doubt in our ability to handle that task.
Best,
Lauren Robel
