AND NOW IT'S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE
The ILA bids all a fond farewell for the summer. Congratulations to the graduating Class of 2004!
IT'S A BOY!
The Law School community is delighted to welcome a new family member, Samuel Asher Fischman, who arrived exactly on his due date of April 24. Professor Rob Fischman's son weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces. Mother and baby are doing well. Father is ecstatic and adjusting to a new lifestyle. To view pictures of Sam, visit http://www.kevinatkins.org/samuel.
NEWS FROM THE FACULTY
Elizabeth Goldberg, assistant librarian and lecturer in law, will be going to Baku, Azerbaijan, in late May for three weeks to work as a consultant for the Legal Education Reform Project of the ABA-CEELI (Central European and Eurasian Law Initiative). Goldberg will primarily be visiting the law schools at Khazar University and Western University, where she will meet with the schools' librarians, faculty, and deans. Her goal is to help the ABA-CEELI determine how best to spend the money they have allotted for library improvements at each school. Goldberg has also been invited to visit Baku State University and the Economic Court during her visit.
