Attamongkol (Atta) Tantratian

Brief biography

Atta is an SJD candidate at the Maurer School of Law, where he completed his LLM in 2020. Prior to commencing his SJD, he worked as a think tank researcher, helping different industries understand the requirements of Thailand's first data protection law through the issuance of guidelines. His involvement in this transitional stage deepened his interest in information privacy and brought him back to Maurer Law in 2021. Among many questions he is investigating, Atta's dissertation seeks to find a balance between consumer's right to access their personal information and businesses' interests in protecting trade secrets.
