Biography
Rachael Monroe joined the Jerome Hall Law Library in 2025 as the Acquisitions and Collection Management Librarian. She is responsible for facilitating the arrival of new materials and ensuring a smooth transition into the collection. Prior to coming to Indiana University, Monroe gained varied experience in the library field. While attending graduate school at
Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, she worked as a Graduate Student Assistant for the library system. In this role, she gained experience in the Undergraduate, Graduate, and Law Libraries. She also spent several years working in the Archives and Libraries department of The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. In this role she primarily worked to catalog unique documents, generally ranging in publication date from 1790’s-1980’s. She is excited for the chance to apply these skills to her new position at Indiana University.
