Biography
Andrew Bunger joined the Career Services Office in 2012 after working for one year at the Indiana University Career Development Center and Arts & Sciences Career Services. As an Assistant Director at the Career Development Center, he taught career classes on basic career development and preparing for the job search, conducted one-on-one advising sessions, and was a member of the employer relations team. He is also a Certified Meyers Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Interest Inventory Interpreter.
Before entering the career development field, Bunger practiced law for three years. He began his career during law school in the public sector working as a law clerk in the Juvenile Division of the Public Guardian's Office of Cook County, Chicago. He then worked as an associate attorney for three years at a private law firm with his primary area of practice being general civil litigation.
Bunger is responsible for advising students about their career planning and professional development as they enter a competitive and demanding profession. He presents workshops and outreach sessions on a wide variety of professional development topics. He also works to cultivate and strengthen relationships with potential employers of Maurer graduates. Bunger is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association, and the Monroe County Bar Association.
