This Week in the Law School
We're thrilled to welcome in Stephen Befort for Wednesday's Stewart Lecture. Attendance was stellar for last week's Fuchs Lecture and we hope you'll attend this one as well. Prof. Befort will continue our streak of timely and topical subject matters: His lecture focuses on the decline of the American workforce. Please join us on Wednesday at noon.
Barristers' Ball is on Friday. This annual event is named in honor of Rapheal M. Prevot, Jr., a beloved alumnus of our school who passed away in 2008. In advance of the Law School's signature social event of the year, ILA would invite you to take a minute to learn a bit about Mr. Prevot and his amazing life.
Thanks to the Feminist Law Forum and everyone who participated in Keeping the Momentum. The response surpassed the group's goals by a landslide, raising $2,215 in cash donations. Great job!
In honor of Black History Month, last week's CSO Coffee & Careers trivia contest featured the accomplishments of several African-American alumni. Congratulations to Philip Koranteng, Trevor Gresham, LaShaila Spivey, and Andrew Berman for their winning answers. See the digital display in the Main Lobby where we highlight some of our distinguished alumni. We'll see you at next month's Coffee & Careers on March 7!
