American Bar Association (ABA) - Law Student Division
The Law Student Division of the American Bar Association offers many resources to aid law students in developing their legal education. Members of the ABA Law Student Division can receive free or discounted memberships to the various sections, divisions, forums and committees that make up the ABA. These groups are organized by various topics in law, giving the law student an excellent opportunity to explore particular areas of law more in-depth than in law school classes. Members are given the opportunity to participate in community service and in competitions with other law students across the country. Members also receive discounts on products and services, such as bar review courses, computers, rental cars, and hotels. Membership in the ABA Law Student Division is a great opportunity to become integrated into the legal world.
At Indiana Law the ABA hosts the annual Labor Law and Employment Panel and participates in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance project at the Monroe County Public Library. A $20 annual membership in the ABA Law Student Division includes:
