Announcements
Leonard D. Fromm Office for Student Affairs Hardship Assistance Program
The Law School has funding available to assist students who are having financial difficulty because of an emergency or other unexpected hardship. One such resource is the Fromm Emergency Fund—named after the late dean of students, Len Fromm. Grant amounts are limited, so we encourage students to ask for only what they need. Awards are typically capped at $1000 and financial need is taken into consideration when reviewing applications. Please reach out to Mr. Paul Leopold (pleopold@iu.edu) for more information about this program and how to apply.
Save the date: 36th annual Rapheal M. Prevot, Jr. Barristers Ball
The Black Law Students Association will host the 36th annual Rapheal M. Prevot, Jr. Barristers' Ball on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 6:30 – 11 p.m. at The Woolery Mill. Barristers' Ball is a signature Law School event that is open to all students, faculty, staff, and alumni. A black-tie gala, the event offers a three-course meal, awards program, entertainment, and chance to celebrate the end of the academic year with colleagues and friends. Additional details, including ticket pricing, registration dates, and the event program to follow. For the most up-to-date information, check the official Barristers’ Ball webpage.
