IP Colloquium: Moral Rights in Film
Mira Sundara Rajan will present a lecture at the 2011 Intellectual Property Colloquium titled "Authors or Auteurs?: Moral Rights in Film." Ms. Rajan, who resides in Vancouver, BC, is an independent copyright consultant and fellow at Magdalen College Oxford. She is also an internationally recognized concert pianist. Room 213, 1:30-3:30.

Do You Tweet? If So, Read On
The marketing office is looking for someone to volunteer to post school-related information on Twitter, including ILA items. It should take 30-45 minutes per week, plus occasional extra posts through the week. If interested, contact Dean Turchi (kturchi@indiana.edu).
CJAM Basic Mediation Training
The Community Justice Mediation Center (CJAM) offers a 32-hour Basic Mediation Training for any community member interested in helping facilitate community mediation or victim-offender reconciliation. The fall training will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. September 17, 18, 24, and 25 at the Law School. Participants who complete the training are eligible to work as CJAM volunteer mediators; however, any community member interested in learning basic mediation skills is welcome to participate. The training will be lead by Senior Mediators from the Community Justice and Mediation Center Tuition is $200, with scholarships available. Registration forms are at www.cjam.org. School of Education Assistant Needed
A professor from the School of Education who teaches public school law is looking for 1-2 law students to work with her undergraduate school law course. The topics addressed in the course include: church/state relations, student speech rights, special education law, teacher privacy rights, tort law, collective bargaining, and teacher contracts. Classes meet on Monday and/or Wednesday evenings. The time commitment would be approximately 3-5 hours per week, and students can receive 1 credit. This is not a paid position. Law students who worked as teachers before enrolling in law school are highly preferred. Please email a resume to Professor Suzanne Eckes at seckes@indiana.edu.
Bloomington Early Music Festival/Themester Event

The Spoils of War: Art in Nazi Germany
The IU Art Museum is offering this special program, the centerpiece of which is a self-guided tour in the museum's first-floor gallery of Western art. Free guides for the tour are available in the gallery. Several other related events are taking place this month, including a gallery talk and film on Sunday, September 11, and a special lecture and reception on Friday, September 16, at 4:30 p.m. The lecturer is Nancy Yeide, the Head of Curatorial Records at the National Gallery of Art; her talk is co-sponsored by the Robert A. and Sandra S. Borns Jewish Studies Program, the Robert and Avis Burke Lecture Series in the Department of the History of Art, and the Department of Germanic Studies. Several events are also scheduled for later in the semester. The exhibition is part of the fall Themester. More information is on the Themester's website.

An online form is available to plan and schedule meetings. Please use this form to request a room, notify Indiana Law Annotated, and send other information about your event. You will receive confirmation that your room has been reserved after your request has been processed. When filling out your event description, please provide all information possible, especially if you are requesting that the event be publicized.
ILA Submissions
The Indiana Law Annotated (ILA) is published every Monday while school is in session with news about the coming week. Submit information and articles for ILA to ila@indiana.edu by Thursday at noon for inclusion in Monday's edition. Length of submission is limited to 150 words, unless otherwise approved. If you're requesting a room, submit all information (including the room request) via the Plan a Meeting feature of the website. If you have questions about an item appearing in the ILA, please contact Ken Turchi (kturchi@indiana.edu; phone 856-4044). Indiana Law Annotated is archived online.
Audio-Video Services
Send requests for AV services to Max Exter (av@exchange.iu.edu). Please include the name of your group and the e-mail address of the contact person, a description of what you want to do, and the date, location, starting time, and duration of the event.
