Biography
Margaret (Maggie) Kiel-Morse joined Indiana Law in July 2019 as the faculty services librarian. She is responsible for reviewing and updating the Library’s faculty services policies, including managing the research request and current awareness services, and routinely reaching out to faculty and clinics. She also supervises the Library’s Faculty Research Assistant Program, and conducts an orientation workshop for students hired as RAs. Kiel-Morse is part of the Library’s strong team of librarians providing legal research instruction for 1L and Advanced Legal Research classes, in addition to any other instructional sessions upon request. She also provides reference services for the Law School's faculty and students, the greater IU community, and the public.
Originally hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, Kiel-Morse began her law library career in 2009 while a student at Michigan State University College of Law. After completing her JD, she continued on to the Law Library Fellowship Program at the University of Arizona, earning a master’s in library and information science. Other past experience includes the National Park Service, an interior design firm, summer camp archery director, and brewing gallons of coffee.
