This is clearly character evidence. The testimony presents evidence of a person's behavioral tendency over 12 years. The first part ("I think .....") is personal opinion testimony. The second part ("Everybody thinks ....") is reputation. These are the two traditionally permissible ways to prove character if character evidence is admissible. Read the text of Rule 405(a).
