The grounds are apparent immediately following the question "Could you please state that opinion for the court?" Most attorneys would object one question earlier, as soon as the witness is asked if he formed an opinion as to the character of the plaintiff. Technically that question asks only for a Yes or No and does not yet call for the character evidence itself, so the objection is premature. However, there is a high likelihood the witness will not just say "yes," but will also say what that opinion is. This would justify an early objection.
