International Law Society (ILS)
The International Law Society is composed of JD, LLM, and SJD students at Maurer School of Law dedicated to gaining a deeper understanding of international law and the role that globalization plays in the legal profession. This year we will host virtual coffee chats with international focused faculty, the American Society of International Law, an international research session, discuss international environmental concerns, and much more. ILS focuses on enhancing the international career opportunities of its members, through career services resources, promotion of Maurer's international focused opportunities, networking events, and global study/ work opportunities.
Further, we have a Pro Bono Project through Lawyers Without Borders where we prepare international research on human trafficking, wildlife trafficking, and terrorism. The best way to stay up to date on ILS is to follow us on Facebook @ILSatMAurer and Instagram @ILSMaurer and/or sign up for our mailing list. Join us for the latest on Maurer’s international opportunities as well as our own research and career guide. Interested? Contact ojpotter@iu.edu.
