I think the answer is the same for each one -- the evidence is relevant to impeach the witness by showing a likelihood that the witness is biased in favor of the defendant.

However, all impeachment evidence is subject to Rule 403 balancing of its probative value -- how sure are we that the witness will slant his testimony in favor of the defendant?-- against the danger of unfair prejudice or confusion of the issues.
