Now let's look at Prob. 6C as written, that is, where the defense DOES offer reputation evidence of the victim's violent character. The prosecution in rebuttal offers the three items of evidence described in the problem --
2 Contrary reputation evidence that Natasha Tate had a reputation on the streets as a peaceful person.
3 Contrary opinion testimony from a Rallys employee that Natasha was a peaceful and easy-going person.
4 Testimony that Tate had been in several confrontations concerning drugs and had never been violent or aggressive..
What objections can the defense make to these three items of evidence? Make your STRONGEST objection first, and your weakest objection last.
