There are several good objections:

1) It assumes facts not in evidence -- that the date is the 14th.
2) It is argumentative by characterizing the events as the defendant confronting the father.
3) It misstates the witness’s testimony because she said it was the father who came out of the house and confronted the defendant.

These are all better objections than leading, because you can direct a witness’s attention to a new topic.
