Academic Legal Writing for LLM Students
B560 is taught by L. Farnsworth
This course is required for students in the LLM-thesis program and graduate students taking seminar courses, but is open to any student interested in producing scholarship. The course provides students with a structure in which they can systematically research and refine their topics. Students submit article summaries each week, the purpose of which is to insure student progress and to provide an opportunity for students to improve their English writing mechanics. In addition to providing this instruction, the course also imposes a rigorous timetable for work on the thesis. By the end of the semester, students submit an annotated bibliography and a detailed outline of their theses and give an oral presentation to the class. (1 credit)
