Biography

Kara Reagan joined the Maurer School of Law faculty as a full-time lecturer in 2026. She teaches Legal Research and Writing and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Prior to joining the faculty, Professor Reagan was in private practice for more than 20 years, focusing on family law and domestic relations mediation. She is a trained Collaborative professional and Parent Coordinator, and a registered Guardian ad Litem. Professor Reagan has served on the boards of several professional organizations, including the Indiana Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and the Monroe County Bar Association, and she was a founding member of the Bloomington Association of Collaborative Professionals. In addition to teaching, she continues to provide family law mediation services.
