Activities and Organizations

Lambda Law Society

Lambda Law Society is the alliance of students working to promote equal rights and protect against discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender. Our members are straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered.

Lambda promotes tolerance within the Law School on behalf of the GLBT community. We also work with other student, alumni, and political organizations to advance equal rights. We host legislative leaders, legal scholars, and community activists to foster the gay rights dialogue within the legal community.

We like to show our enthusiasm for diversity by promoting fun and exciting events for our members and the student body. In addition, Lambda serves as a support organization for LGBT students, a resource for professional contacts, and a liaison to the Administration on issues of concern to the GLBT community.

All students are welcome to join Lambda Law Society. Please contact us if you have questions about LGBT activities, issues, or concerns.
