Black Law Students Association (BLSA)

The Black Law Students Association is an organization with the goal of enhancing its members’ social and academic experience at Indiana University School of Law. BLSA provides its members with a solid network of support through mentorin and social events. The group is also deeply involved in community service and in mentoring students at Bloomington schools. BLSA also sponsors and organizes two of the Law School’s most popular annual events: the Barrister’s Ball and the Gong Show, where students get a chance to show off some of their non-legal talents.

BLSA chapter wins regional award

Indiana Law's Black Law Students' Association was named Chapter of the Year for the Midwest Region at a ceremony in Columbus, Ohio on February 18. The chapter will compete against five other regional winners for the national award in Washington, DC on March 10.
