Monday, January 24

Cover Letter/Resume Workshop

This workshop will combine the essential tools and information presented in both of the cover letter and resume workshops last fall. See Symplicity for further information. RSVP on Symplicity. Lunch will be provided to those who bring their confirmation sheet to the workshop. Noon, room 122.

VITA Computer Training Session

Additional training for VITA volunteers on how to use the IRS Web interface. 7-10 p.m., room 122.

State of POP (Protective Order Project) Meeting

POP will be having a meeting for volunteers to brush up on office procedures, discuss last semester, and talk about projects for this semester. Those of you interested in joining our organization are strongly encouraged to attend. Lunch will be provided. Noon, room 120.

Can Parents Have Too Much Choice? Federalist Society Debate and Free Chick-Fil-A Lunch

On November 3, 2010, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral argument in Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization v. Winn, which asks whether and to what extent religious organizations (such as parochial schools) can participate in funding programs operated by governments and ostensibly open to both secular and religious organizations. The Federalist Society will be hosting a panel discussion featuring Peter Kirsanow, a member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, as well as Indiana Law Professors J. Alexander Tanford and Daniel Conkle. Free Chick-Fil-A lunch will be provided! Monday, January 24, Moot Court Room, noon - 1:00.

Please join your classmates and professors at the annual Women's Law Caucus auction. How to Schedule an Event

An online form is available to plan and schedule meetings. Please use this form to request a room, notify Indiana Law Annotated, and send other information about your event. You will receive confirmation that your room has been reserved after your request has been processed. When filling out your event description, please provide all information possible, especially if you are requesting that the event be publicized.

ILA Submissions

The Indiana Law Annotated (ILA) is published every Monday while school is in session with news about the coming week. Information and articles for the ILA should be submitted to by Thursday at noon for inclusion in Monday's edition. Length of submission is limited to 150 words, unless otherwise approved. If you have questions about an item appearing in the ILA, please contact Ken Turchi (; phone 856-4044). Indiana Law Annotated is archived online.

Audio-Video Services

Requests for AV services should be sent to Max Exter ( Please include the name of your group and the e-mail address of the contact person, a description of what you want to do, and the date, location, starting time, and duration of the event. Requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance and will be confirmed by e-mail.
