WANT THE JOB OF YOUR DREAMS?
Kimm Walton, author of Guerrilla Tactics for Getting the Legal Job of Your Dreams, will present a free seminar on behalf of the Career Services Office on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Moot Court Room. Kimm has talked with thousands of employers all over the country and she will share with you what she has learned from them, plus interviewing techniques, outstanding cover letters, great resumes, and much more.
DRUNK & DISORDERLY COMING IN MARCH
Foster Inn of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity, in cooperation with Indiana Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program, presents Drunk & Disorderly II: Character, Fitness, Discipline & Ethics. Tuesday, March 6, at 7:00 p.m. in the Moot Court Room. The speakers are : Donald R. Lundberg, Executive Secretary of the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission, will discuss prosecution of disciplinary charges; Kevin P. McGoff, a leading disciplinary defense counsel in Indianapolis, will discuss defense against disciplinary charges; Susan B. Eisenhauer, JLAP Executive Director, will discuss how JLAP can help lawyers and law students in distress; and Terry L. Harrell, JLAP Clinical Director, will discuss alcoholism, addiction, depression, stress, and other mental health issues.
Each speaker will present for 10-15 minutes, and then all will take questions from the floor. There will be fruit, cookies, brownies and coffee. CATS, Bloomington's cable access channel, will tape the event for its programming rotation. For those applying to the Ohio state bar, please note that this program will provide attendees with a 1-hour CLE credit for Alcohol Education in Ohio.
Professor Daniel O. Conkle attended a Conference on Law and Religion at Loyola University Chicago Feb. 2-3. Professor Conkle participated in an exchange with Professor Mark Tushnet of Georgetown, who presented a paper entitled "The Redundant Free Exercise Clause?" Conkle's paper, responding to Tushnet's, was entitled "The Free Exercise Clause: How Redundant, and Why?" Both papers, along with the other conference proceedings, will be published next fall in the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal.

PILF MEETING TUESDAY
PILF will hold a meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at Noon in Room 120. Please come to discuss the upcoming "Singing for Summer Salaries" event and other issues.
FEDERALIST SOCIETY MEETING TUESDAY
The Federalist Society will be holding a general meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 13, in Room 216 (note the room change) at 12:15 p.m. Among other things, we will be discussing the speaker we will sponsoring on Feb. 20, Clint Bolick, who will be speaking on "The Constitutional Future of School Vouchers." Be there or be square.
While none of us probably wish to hear the phrase "dimpled chads" ever again in our life, there is some unfinished business from last year's election we need to take care of. Yes, we have FINALLY determined the winners of our Election Extravaganza 2000 Electoral College Contest. Here they are: 1st place: Chad Lewis; second place, Andy Reitz; third

BLSA is holding its Black History Facts trivia contest again this year. You have probably found a Trivia Sheet in your mailbox. The FIRST person to turn in the most correct answers by Monday, Feb. 12 at 5:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, will receive a free ticket (for 2) to our Barristers Ball. POP COURSE FOR CERTIFIED LEGAL INTERNS TUESDAY
Protective Order Project announces a short how-to course for POP Certified Legal Interns, Tuesday, Feb. 13, 7:00 p.m., Room 216. Join us and learn about the ethical duties of a Certified Legal Intern, courtroom etiquette, basic examination/cross techniques, and how to go about preparing for a hearing. BLSA INVITES YOU TO THE BARRISTERS BALL
BLSA would like to cordially invite you to our annual Barristers Ball. The Barristers Ball is the law school's only student-sponsored formal event of the school year. It is a night of fine dining and dancing ... a night where women can wear dazzling dresses and men sharp suits. This year's Ball will be on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 6:00 p.m. to midnight, at Chapman's Restaurant and Banquet Center. A reception will be followed by dinner, socializing, and dancing. Tickets are $25 per person or $40 per couple. If nothing else, this is a wonderful way to cap off Valentine week!

To schedule classrooms in the law building, send e-mail to bl-law-events (for Outlook users) or bl-events-law@ exchange.indiana.edu (for non-Outlook users). Please include date and time of event, length of time room will be needed, classroom requested and number of people attending event. Requests should be sent at least one week prior to event and include name of person requesting, organization planning the event and an email address. Confirmations will be sent by reply e-mail.

Requests for AV services may be sent to Beth at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include the name of your group and the e-mail address of the contact person, a description of what you want to do, and the date, location, starting time and duration of the event. Requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance and will be confirmed by e-mail.
