Joshua D. Odintz is tax counsel to the Senate Finance Committee majority. His portfolio includes corporate and international tax, financial products, and the taxation of private equity and hedge funds.
Previously, Joshua was a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP, based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. He concentrated his practice on both tax controversy and tax planning. His reported cases include United States v. ChevronTexaco Corp. (N.D. Cal.).
Prior to joining McDermott Will & Emery, Joshua served as an attorney-adviser to Chief Special Trial Judge Panuthos at the United States Tax Court.
