The Law School Recorder will distribute the Application for Graduation via e-mail in late February for May graduation and early October for December graduation.
Please contact the IU Registrar for all diploma-related matters.
Diplomas will be mailed ten to twelve weeks after the graduation date to the “Student Home” address listed in OneStart. Updates or corrections to your Student Home address can be made in OneStart, by e-mail, by U.S. mail, or by completing an address change form at the Office of the Registrar. More information can be found on the Registrar’s webpage.
Your name will appear on your diploma in the same format as your “Primary Name” as listed in OneStart. It is your responsibility to verify that the name listed is correct and to notify the IU Registrar of any changes. Changes or corrections can be made in writing or by completing the Request for Diploma Name Change form. More information can be found on the IU Registrar’s webpage.
Please note that the Law School doesn’t issue or otherwise handle diplomas. Please contact the IU Registrar for all diploma-related matters.
Graduates’ IU e-mail accounts will be disabled within weeks after graduation if no action is taken. Please visit UITS to learn how to retain your IU e-mail account.
Official transcripts can only be obtained through the IU Registrar. More information can be found on the IU Registrar’s webpage. Transcripts certifying May or December degree conferral usually become available within 48 hours of all grades posting. If applicable, honors will be added to transcripts in late June and late February for May and December graduates, respectively.
Updated Unofficial Student Records will become available in Symplicity in late June and late February for May and December graduates, respectively. Your Unofficial Student Record can also be obtained by submitting a Document Request Form to the Office of Student Affairs.
