Socctoberfest!
Welcome to the fifth annual JD/LLM Socctoberfest. This year's soccer match is September 28th
at 4:30 p.m. at Karst Farm Park (Fields 1 and 2),
on the west side of Bloomington (map).
It is a co-ed event that welcomes all ability levels. After the games, which will end at approximately
6:30, we will have a cookout in the area adjacent to the soccer fields. Participants, fellow students,
and family are all welcome to attend.
Information for Players
- Teams. The rosters are divided into two main teams: Team Natalie / Dave and Team Matthias / Emily / Andrew. Because of the large turnout (over 100 players!), each team has been divided into two smaller squads. There will be two concurrent games where the winners and runners up with play each other in the second game.
- Jerseys. Jerseys (four colors + special colors for goalies) will be available for pick-up at the field prior to the game.
- Game Format. The games will be short (50 minutes total), and there will be two rounds. At the end of the first 50 minute game, we will switch opponents (probably the winners will play the winners). The second round of games will end at approximately 6:30 pm.
