Panel: "Intersection of Race, Jury Composition with the Death Penalty" The Black Law Students Association and the American Constitution Society co-host a panel on the intersection of race and jury composition with the death penalty in the U.S. The event will also address the constitutionality of the death penalty and the practical elements of trying capital cases in Indiana. The panel includes Criminal Justice Professor Marla Sandys; Paula Sites, Indiana Public Defender's Council; and Indiana Law Professor Jessie Cook, a criminal defense attorney practicing in death penalty cases for 28 years. |
