The IU School of Law is pleased to co-sponsor the DTCI's tailgate party before the Old Oaken Bucket Game on Saturday, Nov. 22. Sign up for the conference — and the

- November 14: Indiana Civil Protection Order Act — One Year Later (CLE)
This free seminar will provide a nuts-and-bolts overview of the Indiana Civil Protection Order Statute (ICPOA), including changes since its enactment in July 2002.
The seminar will also address barriers to enforcement of protective orders within and across state lines and will increase participants' understanding of the Full Faith and Credit
provisions of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). This seminar has been approved for 1.5 Indiana CLE credits and is being co-sponsored by the
Protective Order Project, the City of Bloomington Safe and Civil City Program, and the IU
School of Law's Office of Alumni & Development. The seminar will take place on Friday, Nov. 14, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with
a reception to follow, at the IU School of Law, room TBA (look for a poster in the lobby). For this event, r.s.v.p. to Marsha Bradford at

Professor Joseph Hoffmann and Lesley Davis, director of international programs, met with alumni of the graduate programs,
kicking off a weeklong visit in Korea.

Members of the IU School of Law Board of Visitors are invited to an all day meeting at the Columbia Club, 121 Monument Circle, Indianapolis.

Those who have donated more than a thousand dollars to the IU School of Law Fund for Excellence are invited to the 21st Century Society Dinner at the Eiteljorg Museum, featuring remarks by

Washington D.C. alumni reception
Dean Robel and fellow alumni met on the Jones Day Terrace in Washington, D.C. on the ninth of September.
- October 10: Chicago Alumnae Luncheon
Lauren Robel, law school faculty, and women graduates met at a Chicago-area luncheon for alumnae of the IU School of Law from noon to 1:30 p.m., at the
Renaissance Chicago Hotel, One West Wacker Drive, Chicago.

Dean Lauren Robel and other faculty members attended a Chicago-area reception for alumni of the IU School of Law, hosted by the Bank of America from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Grand Banking
Hall, Bank of America, 231 South LaSalle Street, Chicago.

Alumni learned about the upcoming U.S. Supreme Court calendar from Professor Patrick Baude at a CLE course and breakfast for alumni of the IU School of Law.
