provides the dean with the flexibility to enhance academic and co-curricular programs that make the crucial difference between an adequate education and a truly first-rate education.

- Direct Support of Student Programs
Law students benefit directly and immediately from your gift to the Fund for Excellence. The Fund for Excellence supports all Law School student services and programs beyond
classroom education. In recent years, contributions to the Fund for Excellence have gone toward scholarships that aid in the recruitment and retention of the best and brightest students;
technological equipment for our classrooms; a higher acquisition budget for our renowned Law Library; and a substantial portion of the Careers Services Office budget.
These programs and initiatives, to name only a few, are essential in preparing our students to serve their communities according to the highest standards of the legal
profession.
- Strong Show of Alumni Support
Every gift to the Fund for Excellence, at any level, is crucial to the success of the Law School. A strong show of alumni support is important to the School's ability to leverage funding
from other sources. Corporations, foundations, and major donor prospects often use alumni participation rates when deciding whether to award grants or make significant gifts. Matching
gifts from employers also greatly increase the dollars raised by the Fund for Excellence.
