“Indiana Law has lots of excellent alumni in Taiwan. Their great performance is the best publicity for IU. Law School professors and staff visited many times, and that made IU more well-known in Taiwan. If I have the chance, without any hesitation, I would recommend that my friends or students come here for advanced study and to experience a different culture.”
We will begin accepting fall 2013 applications on October 1st. The application process has changed, so please be sure to follow the most up-to-date procedures as outlined below.
Applications to the PhD programs: Applications should be submitted by February 1. International applicants must allow ample time for the application to be reviewed and, upon admission, for visa documents to be processed and shipped.
Applicants to the Certificate in Legal Studies program: For instructions on how to apply to the Certificate in Legal Studies program, please contact the Office of Graduate Legal Studies.
All prospective PhD students must apply online using the new Indiana University eApp (Online Admissions Application). To complete the eApp, applicants to the PhD programs should select "Law PhD Degree" as the academic program to which they are applying, "Law and Social Science PhD" as the academic plan, and, if needed, "Law and Democracy" as the subplan. Please note that the law school also requires applicants to each degree program to submit a supplemental application. Please review the supplemental application requirements prior to completing the onlne eApplication (Law and Social Science | Law and Democracy).
Applicants to the Certificate in Legal Studies program: For instructions on how to apply to the Certificate in Legal Studies program, please contact the Office of Graduate Legal Studies.
