Trinity College Dublin
High-achieving 3L students are eligible to apply for admission to and spend their 3L year pursuing one of Trinity College Dublin’s five postgraduate LL.M. degrees, each worth 30 credits. These include the General LL.M.; the LL.M. in International and Comparative Law; the LL.M. in International and European Business Law; and the LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law. Up to 29 of the credits from LL.M. coursework may be counted toward the Maurer J.D. Students are finished with the required LL.M. coursework by early May and must submit the LL.M. thesis by the end of June. The formal LL.M. graduation ceremony takes place in September, and most Maurer dual degree students choose to attend. There is an additional cost for the Trinity LL.M. degree (IU students are charged the European partner rate of approximately 8,000 euros). The Law School's Office of Financial Aid can assist students with funding options and considerations.
